Field Service Tech / Automation Tech

Responsibilities:           

The primary responsibility for this position is to provide first line in plant support for custom automation equipment designed and built by Trimantec.  This equipment consists of mechanical and electrical systems and this person must by comfortable and proficient in setup, adjustment, operation, and maintenance of both.  Employee must be competent in troubleshooting basic electrical circuits using tools (e.g., Digital Multimeter) to isolate, identify and repair or replace faulty components.  Employee must also have good mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of mechanical machines and systems and how to adjust and troubleshoot them. This person will be expected to be able to repair equipment in the field without the aid of additional labor and be someone who can self-direct to accomplish the task at hand in a timely and cost-effective manner. 

The technician must be competent in the use of PLC programming software (e.g., Allen Bradley RS-Logix, Factorytalk View) to troubleshoot and repair hardware and correct minor software bugs.  The technician will work closely with Design Engineers and Automation Techs to communicate issues found on equipment in the field to implement solutions which require Engineering to design and / or document them.

When not required to be in a customer’s plant, the employee will report to the Automation assembly area to assist in the assembly of new equipment and upgrades to existing equipment.  This will serve to help production and to give the service technician a good working knowledge of the equipment they will be required to support in the field.

Supervision:    This position reports to the Production Manager for work schedule and priorities.

Hours: This position is an hourly paid position and employee is considered non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay based on a 40-hour work week.  Normal workdays will be Monday though Friday.  Work hours will vary depending on customer’s service needs but will primarily be 1st shift hours of operation (between 7:00am and 5:00pm).

Travel: This job does require travel and may require daily travel.  Most travel will be same day round trip to and from employee’s home or the plant.  Occasional overnight travel and extended travel may be required but is not the norm.

Project Manager

The Project Manager position for Trimantec will require the management of key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the projects which include but are not limited to setting deadlines, allocating human resources, and monitoring and summarizing the progress of projects. This position will require preparing reports for upper management regarding the status of ongoing projects. The successful candidate will work directly with our clients and our internal staff to ensure that deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other department managers and supervisors within Trimantec to ensure all aspects of each project are being met to fulfill our client’s needs.

CNC Programmer

Trimantec is looking for a full-time CNC Programmer, specifically for 2nd shift

General Description:
Program a variety of CNC machines to make precision parts, using MasterCam, from applicable drawings and CAD models.

Responsibilities:

•Programming both high volume and one-off turnkey parts to run on various CNC equipment from drawings, sketches, models, reverse engineering, etc.
•Creating detailed instructions for CNC setup/operators
•Manage/Organize Applicable Tooling
•Perform preventive maintenance on machines as required
•Maintain work area in an organized, clutter free manner.
•All Applicable work to be performed within Documented QMS.
•Other Duties as Assigned


Minimum Educational Qualifications:
•Strong Math Skills
•Strong Reading/Writing Skills
•Associates Degree

Minimum Previous Experience:
•Three (3) Years
•Ability to read prints, GD&T symbols, weld symbols, etc.
